Philips: Wake Up The Town

Philips just launched an interesting campaign for its new product,
Wake-Up Light. Its a kind of alarm clock / light, with an innovative
design and its main function is to wake up people the best way through
its halogen bulb, which makes us wake up smoothly with the gradual
increase in its light.

“Wake Up The Town” is an experiment that will be held in Longyearbyen,
a town near the North Pole, passing through four months of the year
totally in the dark. The whole routine of the inhabitants of the place
changes and the sense of time, day and night, simply cease to exist.
At this point Philips is gonna try to help the inhabitants of that
place to feel the day in dark times with its new product.

iPad Controlled Autonomous Taxi’s


The taxi has a GPS, multiple radars, scanners and other directional
systems to help it stay on track. Then the iPad user simply uses a
special app to input the coordinates (address) and car itself drives
to the user’s destination. So far the actual driving looks a little
rough,but I’d be happy to say that I’d created an iPad controlled car
no matter how bad it drives!

AIDS: You won’t even see it coming

Dramatic and interesting PSA from Canada’s One Life Resource Centre
shows AIDS as an invisible enemy striking people when the least expect
it:

The message, as they note n the YouTube link, is simple: Protect
yourself, understand the danger, get tested, find out more and seek
treatment. I don’t think I can really add to that, except to say that
the PSA shows like a pretty cool horror trailer.

And if you like the song, they offer it as a free download on their
site, along with tonnes (that’s the Canadian spelling!) of important
health information.

it shouldn't be bottled at all, but instead, boxed. So we looked to
the past for inspiration in the century old beverage container and

Franny Armstrong to proudly present their explosive new mini-movie "No
Pressure". The film stars X-Files' Gillian Anderson, together with

Nokia's Roving Ovi Booth

Nokia UK has been taking an Ovi Music Booth game on the road to give
people the chance to win music vouchers for the Ovi Music Store or a
new Nokia X6. Nokia announced on Oct. 1 that the Ovi service was
attracting some 200,000 people signing up daily, with store downloads
up to 2.3 million per day and 70 app developers each surpassing the 1
million download mark.

Компания Nokia (Великобритания) запустила очередную креативную
промо-акцию по продвижению своего нового телефона X6 и сервиса Ovi
Music. В городах были установлены прозрачные кабины циллиндрической
формы, оснащенные всем необходимым оборудованием для увлекательной
игры. Любой желающий мог попробовать свои силы и проверить свою
ловкость. В кабине было накидано большое количество синих листков
бумаги, которые необходимо было поймать в течение определенного для
игры времени. В обмен на листки бумаги люди получали ваучеры
музыкального магазина Ovi и возможность выиграть новый телефон X6.
Необходимо заметить, что для усложнения задачи в кабине был установлен
сильнейший вентилятор, благодаря которому листки бумаги поймать было
не так просто.

Macbook owners, leave the idea of spending some extra bucks on
expensive iPad because you can convert your Macbook into a tablet for
just $50, yeah the mod is here now, but you need do some extra
technical stuff in order to achieve that.

If you are really interested into such stuff then you need to contact
Enigma-Penguin, the hacker who has used a $50 touchscreen to convert
the Macbook into a touch tablet, of course the tablet doesn’t have a
swivel screen at the moment but after some more modification we can
easily achieve that.

1 октября в Омске стартовал четвертый конкурс социальной рекламы
"П.О.Р.А! - 2010". Призываю всех рекламистов, дизайнеров, а теперь
даже и фотографов поучаствовать и поддержать организаторов конкурса.

Немного о фестивале:
Конкурс > в четвёртый раз стартует в г. Омске. Его цель
- привлечь внимание людей к социокультурному облику региона, повысить
уровень качественной социальной рекламы в средствах массовой
коммуникации, тем самым увеличить ее значимость в жизни общества.

Конкурс > за 3 года своего существования приобрёл широкую
известность, количество участников фестиваля с каждым годом
увеличивается: 2007г. - 200 работ, 2008г. - 350 работ, 2009г. - 400
работ. Расширяется также и география конкурса - Москва, Новосибирск,
Таганрог, Владимир, Уфа и другие города приняли участие в конкурсе.

Поучаствовать в конкурсе может любой желающий: принимаются как работы
профессиональных дизайнеров, так и заявки от непрофессионалов,
заинтересованных в решении проблем социального характера. Призовой
фонд конкурса составляет свыше 100 тысяч рублей.

Впервые представлена номинация >. Теперь
возможность проявить себя получат не только дизайнеры, но и фотографы,
которым интересна социальная реклама.
Работы принимаются c 1 октября до 15 ноября, затем работы оценит
независимое жюри.

Daffy’s Interactive Peep Show

The "Undressing Room" was Daffy's Official Fashion's Night Out event.
